Project partners from ASINCAR, SERIDA and ASEAVA celebrated the second GLOMICAVE Spanish workshop, entitled “Application of omic technologies in the agri-food sector” and celebrated last 23rd of February in La Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura (Gijón, Spain).
During this event, project partners presented the activities and innovations under development of the European GLOMICAVE project, with special emphasis on how omics techniques can be applied in the agri-food sector and how their great potential can be exploited. The programme also included the presentation of the project’s use cases and some real experiences of applications based on omics techniques.
Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to discover the GLOMICAVE project platform by participating in a demonstration session.
Partners from Eurecat, the project’s coordinator, and TREE Technology participated in the event, together with representatives from the Complutense University of Madrid and the Institute of Dairy Products of Asturias (IPLA-CSIC).
