D1.2 GLOMICAVE Semantic Model - Full report
The GLOMICAVE Semantic Model performs a key role within the GLOMICAVE platform, providing a uniform structure for the description of experimental datasets sourced from various primary repositories across the omics domains. This metadata is automatically retrieved from the primary repositories and converted into standardized representation. The primary purpose of this metadata is to enable the downstream automated analysis and interpretation of the experimental datasets, using both traditional statistical and machine learning based approaches. In addition, this metadata can be used as a data index, allowing the user to more efficiently identify and reuse relevant datasets for large scale analyses. This semantic model will be a live document that will be extended from this first version and throughout the work package, being updated in line with the evolution of the project.
