FindingPheno Project
FindingPheno is a European project creating an integrated computational framework for hologenomic big data, providing the tools to better understand how host-microbiome interactions can affect growth and other outcomes. The tools created in FindingPheno are expected to significantly improve how we understand and utilise the functions provided by microbiomes in combating human diseases as well as the way we produce sustainable food for future generations.
PROMICON Project
The aim of the PROMICON project is to learn from nature how microbiomes function through latest and novel methods in order to steer their growth towards production of biopolymers, energy carriers, drop-in feedstocks and antimicrobial molecules. PROMICON will use the existing microbiomes and then use them in top-down and bottom-up approaches for industrial application.
VitiGEOSS Project
VitiGEOSS is a European project developing an innovative vineyard management platform that provides forecasts, estimations and recommendations for wine makers to help boost vineyards’ sustainability and adaptation to climate change. The project is using European Open Earth Observation services for the improvement of agriculture business operations at an economic, environmental and local level.
