The GLOMICAVE project was represented during the Journées Ouvertes en Biologie, Informatique et Mathématiques (JOBIM) celebrated from 5-8 of July in the University of Rennes, France.
Chlóe Beaumont, PhD student from INRAE, participated in the session “Evolution, phylogeny & comparative genomics”, presenting the poster “Multispecies comparison of fruit development based on quantitative transcriptomic data”, which is based on GLOMICAVE-research.
The work, results and conclusions presented in this poster are based on the fruit growth and quality business case developed by the GLOMICAVE project. Specifically, this case study aims to use the innovative project’s platform to validate the development of ten fruit species at ten different stages of fruit development. Using the GLOMICAVE platform, variables linked to fruit quality will be searched from previous literature.
JOBIM is an annual event which every year brings together the French bioinformatics sector to show and discuss about the latest challenges and trends of this field. The event was organised by the French Society of Bioinformatics (SFBI), in partnership with the French Institute of Bioinformatics (IFB) and the Molecular Bioinformatics Research Group (GDR BIM).
