Xavier Domingo and Adrià Cereto, researchers at the Omics Sciences Unit of Eurecat, attended the internal meeting on Data Integration organised by the OmicsTech and celebrated on May 11th.
The meeting, which was an invite-only event, brought together representatives from Eurecat and also from the National Centre for genomic analysis (CNAG-CRG).
During the meeting, Xavier Domingo delivered the presentation “GLOMICAVE, a holistic approach for multi-omics data analysis”, which included a general overview about the GLOMICAVE project, as well as the main work and research done in the field of multi-omics data analysis and integration. On the other hand, Adrià Cereto, who is also involved in GLOMICAVE project, delivered a presentation titled “Metaproteomics and metagenomics integration approaches”.
OmicsTech is a distributed ICTS formed by the CNAG-CRG, the Proteomics Unit of the CRG and UPF and the Omics Sciences Unit of Eurecat, which offers the research community the possibility of using unique facilities dedicated exclusively to omics technologies, with a broad spectrum of biomolecular analysis tools that provide a holistic view of biological processes.
