Project partners from the French National Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE), and the University of Bordeaux (UBx) presented a GLOMICAVE-research poster during the 19th Annual Conference of the Metabolomics Society taking place from June 18th – 22nd in Niagara Falls, Canada.
The poster, titled “Capturing growth, physiology and quality traits of ten fruit species using machine learning-based predictive metabolomics”, introduces some of the work and results achieved as part of the fruit growth and quality use case developed within the project.
Moreover, the poster also presents some information detailing how a better understanding of the developmental basis of fruit growth, physiology and quality traits would allow the identification of molecular targets for their improvement.
The Conference, organised by the Metabolomics Society, covered the major scientific themes of technology advances, computational metabolomics, statistics and bioinformatics, as well as metabolomics in health and disease, and metabolomics of plants, food, environment and microbes.
